Experience
I am a tutor with extensive experience studying and teaching English. I attended Penn State University and graduated from the Franciscan University of Steubenville with a master's degree in education. I also have thirteen years of experience teaching at a cyber charter school. I specialize in teaching online. I am comfortable tutoring students in a variety of different English-related subjects, including reading, writing, literature, grammar and mechanics, and public speaking. I am also available to help students write and edit collegiate level essays. My value as a tutor is in my patience. However, in spite of my willingness to be patient, I am also a demanding tutor. I want my students to excel in academics, and thus, I do everything possible to help them achieve their academic goals. I am not content to let my students do anything less than their best. I find teaching very rewarding because I enjoy seeing my students excel. While I can teach many different subjects, I most proficient in technology, spelling, writing, grammar, and literature at the high school level. In my free time, I like to participate in historical reenactments, bake, cook over an open fire, sew, and research historical topics.
